Visit organized as part of T4Green

Through the Erasmus+ T4GREEN /Transforming Teacher Education for Green and Digital Transition in Armenia and Moldova Project, a monitoring and informative visit was organized at M. Nalbandyan State University of Shirak, which is a partner of the Project. The coordinator of the T4GREEN Project is the Armenian State Pedagogical University (ASPU).

During the visit, Project Manager, ASPU Vice-Rector for HR Management and International Cooperation Marianna Harutyunyan; Project Coordinator, Chief Specialist of the Center for International Cooperation and Project Management Raisa Avetyan; Head of the Department for Education Management and Reforms, Project Researcher Samvel Asatryan were introduced to the representatives of the working group engaged in the Project by Shirak State University and the actions they have implemented.

The ASPU representatives touched upon the activities implemented since the launch of the Project, particularly the report devoted to the study on the current state of teacher education in Armenia and Moldova. The document was developed by the Project’s working group and published on the EU portal.

Issues on management and coordination of the Project at the institutional level and the planning of future actions were considered during the meeting.

The three-year Erasmus+ T4GREEN Project was launched in January 2024. Through the Project, 2 short credit programs for STEM, foreign language and special and inclusive education, as well as general pedagogy courses based on the functioning standards will be revised at 5 universities in Armenia and Moldova. In addition, the National Concept for Teacher Education will be developed.
