Since its establishment, Armenian State Pedagogical University has carried out publishing activities, presenting to wider circles of the scientific community in Armenia and abroad the University’s research achievements and results, particularly scientific journals, monographs and educational manuals.
Publication of each and every scientific work is a multi-stage process that includes the following stages:
- the manuscript submitted for publication is first discussed at the corresponding Chair, after which the Chair recommends it for review at the session of the Faculty Board
the manuscript submitted for publication is discussed at the session of the Faculty Board. Once the manuscript is recommended for publication, it is submitted to the Scientific and Methodical Commission under the ASPU Scientific Council and the Publications Board for review - The Publications Board coordinates the proposals and recommendations received from the ASPU units regarding publications for the next year and submits to the ASPU leadership proposals regarding publications planned for the next year and the amount of funding to be allocated.
- Based on the positive opinion of the Scientific and Methodical Commission and the Publications Board, the ASPU Scientific Council submits the work for review and approval of its members. The Scientific Council recommends the manuscript for publication by open vote
- the Armenian State Pedagogical University Foundation has established procurement regulations for organizing publication of manuscripts and journals approved by the ASPU Scientific Council. The Publications Board coordinates the processes of announcing and summarizing the results of publishing tenders. An evaluation commitee including a representative of the responsible unit and members of the Publications Council is appointed for each case. The committee carried out its activity in accordance with the RA legislation and other legal acts. The organization/company that wins the tender shall carry out the publication on a contractual basis.
