GENERAL PROVISIONS FOR CONTINUING EDUCATION IN RELEVANT PROFESSION IN HIGHER EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS FOR GRADUATES OF MIDDLE PROFESSIONAL EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTES WITH OUTSTANDING ACADEMIC PERFORMANCE
This procedure regulates relations related to continuing education in the relevant specialty in higher educational institutions (hereinafter referred to as “HEIs”) of the Republic of Armenia for graduates (hereinafter referred to as "Applicants”) with outstanding academic performance (only with "Good" and (or) "Excellent" grades) of educational institutions of the Republic of Armenia implementing a middle vocational education programmes
Applicants’ education at the University is organized in the following way:
• In case of applicants admitted to an educational institution implementing a secondary vocational education programme before 2014, full-time or distance learning courses starting in the second year if the number of subject differences (modules) envisaged by the curricula of the preferred and covered specialty does not exceed 8. In case of applicants admitted after 2014, only distance learning courses in the second year if the number of subject differences (modules) envisaged by the curricula of the preferred specialty does not exceed 8.
• On a paid basis, except for applicants who have privileges defined by the legislation of the Republic of Armenia to continue their education in this manner.
• To ensure continuous learning of the applicant, a cooperation agreement (hereinafter referred to as “the agreement”) is signed between the university (ies) and educational institution implementing a middle vocational education programmes (except for the HEI and the relevant subdivision of the institution implementing a middle vocational education programmes which includes all the professions [with corresponding subject differences] the applicant can continue his education with. The agreement may be revised.
• The applicant or the institution implementing a middle vocational education programmes submits the documents to the relevant university by August 30 of the given year.
• The competition is held until September 15 of the given year.
