The Department of Education Quality Assurance and Management coordinates and implements quality assurance functions in accordance with the University’s strategy. It coordinates implementation of the University’s strategic tasks, initiates cooperation with corresponding structural units of local and foreign universities and monitors their implementation. The Department is in charge of implementation of internal quality assurance mechanisms and promoting and shaping a culture for continuous quality improvement.
The goals are:
• to establish a base of quality assurance officers and experts,
• to increase the level of awareness [in the university] about education through regularly organized meetings,
• to make ASPU employees and students participate in the reform and decision-making processes in the field of education.
