ARMENIAN STATE PEDAGOGICAL UNIVERSITY AFTER KHACHATUR ABOVYAN

The Council of the Faculty of Special and Inclusive Education held a meeting on April 20, with the only issue on the agenda being election of the Faculty Dean.

“When you meet one person with Autism, you’ve met one person with Autism,” Haykuhi Adamyan, Acting Director of the Republican Pedagogical-Psychological Center (RPPC) said on April 10 during an event entitled "Autism and Art".

On March 7, a group of MA students taking distance learning courses at ASPU received graduate diplomas.

By a decision of RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, Araksia Svajyan has been appointed Deputy Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of the Republic of Armenia.

At the initiative of the Faculty of Special and Inclusive Education a roundtable discussion entitled "Issues of Pedagogical and Psychological Support of Persons with SEN" was held at ASPU on December 21.

The Faculty of Special and Inclusive Education has been awarded a “Nikoghayos Tigranian” medal on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the Pedagogical University.

By a decision of the ASPU Scientific Council, a number of professors of the Faculty of Special and Inclusive Education have received awards and diplomas. The awards were handed over by ASPU Rector Srbuhi Gevorgyan.
