The Faculty was established in 2012 as a result of the merger of the Faculty of Physics and Technology and Faculty of Mathematics and Informatics, which operated since the opening of the University.
The Faculty has nine educational laboratories and two workshops, an e-library, a quantum electronics lab and an audience portal with rich professional literature.
The Chairs of the Faculty collaborate with research institutes and educational institutions in Armenia and outside the country, including the Université de Lorraine in France, Moscow City Pedagogical University (MGPU), Moscow State Pedagogical University, University of Bergen (UiB) in Norway, and other centers.
The Faculty also has an education observatory.
Graduates of the Faculty can work in schools as teachers of Physics, Mathematics, Informatics and Technology, and in research institutes as researchers. Graduates with a degree in Informatics can also work in state and private ICT companies.Advantages of the Faculty
