On July 7, a solemn graduation and awards ceremony was held at the Armenian State Pedagogical University (ASPU) during which diplomas were handed over to graduates of the 2025–2026 academic year.

The ceremony gathered the University's leadership, lecturers, graduates, their family members, and guests under one roof to celebrate one of the most memorable days of student life together.

During the traditional ceremony, 104 outstanding graduates with excellent academic performance received Bachelor's and Master's degrees with Honours. The diplomas were given by Acting Rector of ASPU Lilit Mkrtchyan and the deans of the University's faculties, in recognition of the graduates' excellent and exemplary academic performance, professional achievements, and dedicated commitment throughout the years of study at ASPU.

Congratulating the graduates Lilit Mkrtchyan emphasized that the graduation day marks not only the end of student life but also the beginning of a new chapter and a professional journey.

“Today, the Pedagogical University bids farewell to another class of graduates, 104 of whom are receiving Diplomas with Honours in recognition of their dedicated efforts, outstanding academic achievement, and perseverance throughout their years of study. This is not just a graduation ceremony; it is the day when years of hard work, achievements, and challenges already overcome become the beginning of a new chapter in life. Behind every diploma lie years of dedication, obstacles left behind, and great aspirations, and every graduate takes with them the values and sense of responsibility instilled by our University. Today, you are opening the door to a future of limitless opportunities,” Lilit Mkrtchyan said.

Addressing the graduates, she emphasized that teaching is not merely a profession but a calling, a mission, and advised them to never stop learning, not to fear changes, and to believe in their own abilities and strengths.

“Today, you are taking with you not only a diploma, but also the name, values, and trust of the University - the trust to educate, to lead, and to change lives. I believe in you. Never ever lose faith in the path you have chosen! May every one of your students become the finest testament to and the best evaluation of your work, and may every success you achieve become a source of pride for our University,” the Acting Rector said.

During the ceremony, congratulatory remarks were also delivered by Nare Avetisyan, a graduate of ASPU’s Basic School, and Ani Mayants, a graduate of ASPU’s High School.
