On July 9, the Armenian State Pedagogical University (ASPU) and the Republican Pedagogical-Psychological Center (RPPC) signed a memorandum of cooperation (MoC) to strengthen the partnership between the two institutions in the fields of education and inclusion.

The document was signed by Acting Rector of ASPU Lilit Mkrtchyan and Director of RPPC Lilit Mnatsakanyan.

The MoC aims to combine the educational and professional expertise and resources of the two institutions in question in order to support the continuous development of the inclusive education system in Armenia, enhance its effectiveness, and improve the quality of educational services.

Within the framework of the cooperation, the parties plan to implement educational, scientific, and research programs, jointly develop and introduce instructional materials, professional manuals, and other educational resources, and organize training courses, workshops, conferences, and other professional events.

Another key area of cooperation is the expansion of collaboration with regional pedagogical-psychological support centers with the aim to enhance the professional capacities and competencies of specialists, promote the exchange of best practices and increase the effectiveness of services provided to children with special educational needs.

The memorandum also foresees organization of professional internships for students of the Faculty of Special and Inclusive Education and other faculties of the university at RPPC and regional pedagogical-psychological support centers within the framework of pre-agreed internshipprograms.

The parties will also develop and implement new educational, scientific, research, and professional initiatives, fostering effective collaboration and ensuring sustainable development in the field of inclusive education.
