From 1 to 7 July, the Faculty of Biology, Chemistry and Geography of the Armenian State Pedagogical University (ASPU) hosted a training course titled "Applications of Artificial Intelligence (AI) Tools in Higher Education Institutions."

During the course, lecturers of the Faculty became acquainted with the capabilities and potential of AI, combining theoretical knowledge with hands-on experience.

Participants were introduced to the fundamentals of AI, Prompt Engineering - the art of “talking” with AI effectively, as well as to the AI tools: NotebookLM, Perplexity, Consensus AI, and Kimi AI, along with AI detectors and AI humanizers. The course also focused on the development, principles, and application areas of AI. Participants learned how to formulate clear, specific, and context-rich queries to get the best results from AI, tested their capabilities, learned to distinguish their respective application areas, and gained practical skills for applying them in research and academic work.

During the practical sessions, participants tested how these tools work in practice and explored their capabilities and limitations.

The course was conducted by Anushik Gevorgyan, the founder of the first AI-focused podcast in the Armenian media.
