From 27 to 31 July, a delegation of the Armenian State Pedagogical University (ASPU) led by Acting Rector Lilit Mkrtchyan paid a working visit to the Panteion University of Social and Political Sciences  in Athens, Greece.

The ASPU representatives were met by Christina Koulouri, Rector of Panteion University of Social and Political Sciences. Considering the professional interests and priorities of the two universities in question, the parties paid particular attention to contemporary methods of teaching history, innovations in research, and the application of interdisciplinary approaches.

The parties emphasized the importance of organizing joint conferences and seminars, as well as the opportunity for expanding exchange programs for lecturers and administrative staff. They noted that the cooperation would help strengthen the educational and research environments in both educational institutions.

The ASPU representatives also visited the library of the Panteion University of Social and Political Sciences, where they explored the library’s extensive collection, its electronic resources management system, as well as study and research facilities available to students and researchers.

The group also visited the Erasmus office at the Panteion University of Social and Political Sciences where they met with staff to discuss ways to improve the effectiveness of international mobility programs, new opportunities for cooperation, as well as development and submission of future joint projects.

The visit marked another important step in implementing ASPU’s internationalization strategy, expanding cooperation with European higher education institutions (HEIs), and strengthening long-term partnerships.
