Postgraduate education is carried out in accordance with the regulatory acts approved by the Higher Education and Science Committee of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of the Republic of Armenia.

Foreign citizens can enroll in degree-seeking programs at ASPU

✔ When doing research postgraduate students, degree-seekers and doctoral students use the University's scientific equipment, laboratories, computer equipment and libraries.

✔ Since 2015, the functions of the University’s PhD Department have been transferred to the Research Center.

✔ Numerous postgraduate students, degree-seekers and doctoral students have defended doctoral and candidate theses over the years.

Required documents

for Postgraduate Studies
Applicants must submit the following documents:

1. Application in the name of the University rector, with the following documents:

1) Copies of bachelor's and master's or certified specialist's or resident's diplomas and their inserts (for those who have received higher education in foreign countries, a certificate of equivalence),
2) a foreign language proficiency certificate or a corresponding reference (with a defined internal threshold, and grades),
3) A copy of at least one published scientific paper or a scientific abstract in the chosen field of study (at least 20 printed pages long),

4) copies of passport and social security card,
5) CV and three 3x4 photos,
extract from the work book (if available).

2. The minimum required score for any of the following foreign languages is considered:
1) for English «TOEFL» (iBT): 46 և «IELTS»՝ 5.5,
2) for France «TCF»: 200,
3) for German «on DaF»: 60

Applicants must submit the following documents:

1. Application in the name of the University rector, indicating the specialty they have chosen
2. Copies of master's or graduate specialist's or resident's diploma and their inserts (for those who have received higher education in foreign countries, a certificate of equivalence),
3. copies of passport and social security card,
4. two published articles or a scientific abstract in the field they have chosen
