Preschool teachers participate in training course

On March 2, 70 participants of the course “Mandatory Training for Preschool Staff and Teaching Assistants (TAs)” received certificates.

The 90 academic-hour course, held from December 8 to 22, covered a range of topics, including legislation in the field of preschool education, the use of ICT (information and communication technologies) in education, developmental psychology, inclusive education, methods used in preschool teaching, 21st-century skills, and the principles of conducting research.

Congratulating the participants who successfully completed the course Lilit Mkrtchyan, Acting Rector of the Armenian State Pedagogical University (ASPU), expressed hope that they are satisfied with the results, as well as knowledge, skills, and experience gained with the help of ASPU at an important stage of their lives, while also strengthening their professional connections. “Every new stage is the beginning of a new reality. Accept it and be open to it, viewing it as a value, a strength, an opportunity to grow stronger and overcome the problem," she said.

Lilit Mkrtchyan added that the preschool age is the most important stage, and that the participants are the most important people in the education sector, who carry out the important mission of nurturing healthy children.

The participants expressed satisfaction with the training results and assured the rector that they were able to fill the gap in their professional skills thanks to the work and efforts of the experienced training team and knowledgeable and competent specialists.

Armenuhi Manukyan, Acting Head of the Chair of Preschool Pedagogy and Methodologies, assured the course participants that the University is doing everything possible to improve and develop the process.
