ASPU representatives present ongoing Erasmus+ projects during Erasmus+ Project Dissemination Conference

Earlier this month, the Erasmus+ Project Dissemination Conference was held during which the expected results of the new Erasmus+ projects involving Armenian institutions were presented. The conference also focused on the new opportunities for cooperation, thematic priorities of the newly funded projects and tried to provide a platform for collaboration by bringing together stakeholders from the various fields.

 

The conference was attended by, Zhanna Andreasyan, Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of the Republic of Armenia, H.E. Vassilis Maragos, EU Ambassador to Armenia, Artur Martirosyan, Deputy Minister of Education, Culture, Science and Sport of the Republic of Armenia, Mariana Sargsyan, Coordinator of the Erasmus+ National Office in Armenia and representatives of partner organizations.

 

Among the attendees were also Anna Hakhumyan, Goharik Tigranyan, and Artsrun Pivazyan – representatives of the Center for International Cooperation and Project Management at the Armenian State Pedagogical University (ASPU).

 

During the Erasmus+ Project Dissemination Conference organized by the National Erasmus+ Office in Armenia, participants were introduced to the new Erasmus+ projects selected for funding under the 2025 Call for Proposals which officially commenced in 2026.

 

Representatives of the Center for International Cooperation and Project Management at ASPU presented the three ongoing Erasmus+ projects at ASPU:  Establishment of National Framework of Key Performance Indicators for Good Governance and Quality Towards Inclusive, Digital and Green Oriented Higher Education in Armenia (KPI4HE), Development of Soft Skills at Higher Education Institutions of Armenia and Georgia in Compliance with the 21st Century Labour Market Requirements (DeSIRe), and Fostering Socially Distanced and Inclusive on-Campus Education in Armenian HEIs (eCAMPUS).

 

In their speeches, the speakers presented the objectives of the projects, the results achieved and their significance in advancing the internationalization of the University, enhancing the quality of education, and expanding international academic cooperation.

 

As the conference participants noted the conference served as an important platform for the exchange of knowledge and best practices, strengthening of institutional partnerships, and development of new joint initiatives.
