Head of the Department of Armenian Studies at Pázmány Péter Catholic University in Budapest Bálint Kovàcs recently paid a visit to the Armenian State Pedagogical University (ASPU).

The cooperation between the two educational institutions traces back to a decade. Founded in 2016, the Department of Armenian Studies plays an exceptional role in the advancement of Armenian studies abroad through its Bachelor’s Degree Program and Master’s Degree Program.

During the visit, Bálint Kovàcs had a working meeting with Acting Rector of the Armenian State Pedagogical University Lilit Mkrtchyan and provided details about the cooperation in the past few years.

An agreement was reached to continue cooperation within the scope of various scientific and educational programs. The parties also discussed issues on celebrating the 10^th anniversary of the establishment of the Department of Armenian Studies at Pázmány Péter Catholic University in 2026 and marking the anniversary through various events.

At the end of the meeting, the parties exchanged mementos.
