The Practicum Department was founded in 2013. In November 2015, it was renamed Practicum Center, and in January 2016, it was merged with the Career Center, forming the Practicum and Career Center.

Goals of the Center:

•  to foster the strengthening of the university-labor market relationship, support students and alumni in professional orientation and sustainable career development;
•  to shape and develop capabilities and skills in accordance with the demands of the modern labor market;
•  to promote students’ active involvement in practical programs and in the professional environment;
•  to provide conditions that will help raise the level of employment of alumni.

Objectives of the Center:

•  to develop the relationship between professional training and practicum and professional development, provide orientating-informational and methodical support in the process of organizing practicum;
• to promote the introduction of components of a nurturing, interactive-innovative educational environment in the University’s practicum and in the career planning of learners;
•   to foster the modernization of assessment of the results of practicum and students’ achievements by introducing feedback mechanisms, as well as making sense of, disseminating and institutionalizing successful experiences;
•  to coordinate the ongoing and concluding assessment of the results of continuous practicum;
•   to support the shaping of capabilities required in the labor market in order to ensure the competitiveness of the University’s students and alumni in the labor market.
