Guide for Admission of Diaspora and Foreign Students

General Admission Regulations

The admission of foreign and diaspora applicants to Khachatur Abovian Armenian State Pedagogical University (ASPU) is carried out in accordance with the relevant decisions of the Government of Armenia, ensuring a fair, transparent, and adapted process.

Required Documents

1. Application in accordance with the attached template;
2. Application questionnaire in accordance with the attached template;
3. Medical certificate confirming the applicant’s general state of health (this certificate may also be issued by medical institutions of the Republic of Armenia);
4. A copy of the passport;
5. For applicants from the Diaspora, a notarized copy of the birth certificate or a copy of the baptism certificate;
6. A copy of the graduation document certifying the applicant’s educational qualification (including grades), translated and notarized, and, in the case of certain countries, also with international certification (apostille);
7. Four photographs (3x4 cm)
8. A curriculum vitae (CV) in Armenian, Russian, or English.

➜ Bachelor’s Degree (Tuition-Free, Full-Time) – June 22 - August 24,2026-2027

➜ Bachelor’s Degree (Paid, Full-Time) including Preparatory Courses – June 22 - September 30,2026-2027

➜ Master’s Degree (Paid, Full-Time) – June 22 - October 15,2026-2027

➜ PhD Program – June 22 - November 13,2026-2027

Preparatory Courses

✔ Duration: 5 months

✔ Languages: Armenian, English, Russian, German

✔ Tuition Fee: 500,000 AMD

✔ Certificate Issuance: Upon completion, a certificate is provided, allowing applicants to participate in the admission process.

✔ Residency Status

For applying to residency status the Required Documents are: Translated Passport Copy, 3x4 Photos, Medical Certificate. Submission Location: Department of International Cooperation

Accommodation

ASPU does not have dormitories, but the International Cooperation Department assists in finding rental housing.

Transportation & Food

• Public Transport – 150 AMD (~$0.5) per trip
• Taxi – 100 AMD per km
• Daily Food Expenses – $10-$20
• Student Cafeterias are available on campus.

Health and Insurance

Students are required to have personal health insurance.
