General Provisions for Graduates of Secondary Vocational Institutions with Excellent Academic Performance for Continuing Their Studies at Higher Education Institutions
This regulation defines the conditions and procedures for graduates with excellent academic performance from secondary vocational educational institutions (SVEIs) of the Republic of Armenia to continue their education in higher education institutions (HEIs) in a relevant specialty.
Candidate Status

Applicants are considered eligible, if they have completed their studies at an SVEI with “Good” or “Excellent” academic performance. They receive admission benefits under the condition that the subject differences between their previous studies and the chosen university program do not exceed eight (8) subjects.
Education Organization Procedure

✔ Candidates admitted before 2014
They may be accepted into the second year of either full-time or part-time education, provided that their subject differences are less than eight (8).
✔ Candidates admitted after 2014
They can continue their studies only in the part-time system, starting from the second year, if their subject differences do not exceed eight (8).
Definition of Subject Difference

A subject difference is defined as any course or module that is:
1. Included in the university’s study program but not covered in the candidate’s previous education plan.
2. Covered in the candidate’s education plan but with content differing by 30% or more compared to the university’s program.
Financial Conditions

Candidates are required to pay tuition fees, except in cases where they qualify for exemptions under Armenian law.
Collaboration Agreement

To facilitate the continuation of studies, universities and SVEIs sign a collaboration agreement, which outlines:
• Approved specialties
• Defined subject differences
If necessary, the agreement may be revised.
Document Submission Deadlines

✔ The candidate or their SVEI must submit the required documents to the university by August 30.
✔ The selection process is conducted by September 15.
