The Faculty was established in the 1938-1939 academic year. It closed during the Great Patriotic War and reopened after the war, in 1945.
Distinguished scientists and educators famous not only in Armenia, but also in the former Soviet Union have worked in the Faculty, among them Kamsar Avetisyan, Sahak Karapetyan, Vova Babayan and others.
The majority of the Faculty professors are their students, who continue the best traditions of their teachers. The Faculty is equipped with professional laboratories and necessary didactic equipment.
Graduates of the Faculty can work in schools as teachers of relevant subjects, as well as in the Ministry of Environment, research institutions, and laboratories. Graduates majoring in Landscape Planning can work in the corresponding department of the Municipality.Advantages of the Faculty
