Over the years, the Research Center has been led by Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor Aram Kosyan, followed by Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences Artur Tadevosyan.
The current head of the Center is Doctor of Psychological Sciences, Professor Kamo Yeremi Vardanyan.

Structure

The Research Center of ASPU unites several research institutes, laboratories, and educational structures, creating a comprehensive scientific environment.
The Center comprises three main research institutes. The first, “Haymet” Institute for Research Support and Development, focuses on the preservation and advancement of Armenian studies and the national scientific heritage.

The second, Institute of Technologies for Solving, Restoring, Designing, and Applying Robotic Systems, works on the development of robotic systems and the creation and application of new approaches. Within this institute, there are two laboratories: “Robotic Systems Problem-Solving” and “Physics of Laser Research.”

The third, Institute for Support and Development of Multilayer Research, is aimed at developing innovative methods. It includes three laboratories: “Quantum Electronics and New Research Methods,” “Restoration and Design of Mechanisms and Devices,” and “Development of Ecological Technologies,” which conduct both fundamental and applied research.

In addition, the Center encompasses professional education organizations, professional retraining units, as well as departments, concepts, programs, and public education organizations, ensuring a continuous chain of knowledge transfer and development.

The Research Center of ASPU today is a leading educational and research complex that not only promotes the advancement of innovative directions in science and technology but also supports the transformation of the university into a research-oriented institution of a new level.
