The Faculty opened in 1999. It prepares teachers and specialists of Russian, English, German, and Spanish languages who are currently in great demand in the labor market.

The Faculty cooperates with influential and well-known international organizations, among them the British Council Armenia, the US Embassy, and​​ other embassies accredited in the Republic of Armenia, the Goethe-Institut and others.

Within the framework of international mobility and cooperation projects, students and lecturers of the Faculty have visited Spain, Italy, France, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland and other countries.

Graduates of the Faculty can work as foreign language teachers, teaching assistants, mentors or methodological consultants in schools, educational complexes and centers dealing with the content and administration of foreign language teaching, as well as in other professional institutions and structures.
