The Board of Trustees of Armenian State Pedagogical University (ASPU) is the university’s key collegial governing body, operating for a five-year term with partial composition changes over time. The Board consists of 20 members, representing the university’s academic staff, students, as well as the Government of Armenia and the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports (MoESCS).

✔ Approving the university’s budget and strategic programs

✔ Reviewing and evaluating the rector’s annual report

✔ Electing the rector

Role of the Chairperson

The Board elects its Chairperson, who is responsible for leading meetings and ensuring the implementation of the Board’s decisions between sessions.

As a pillar of ASPU’s development and stability, the Board of Trustees contributes to the efficient implementation of educational and administrative processes within the university.
