On April 30, a memorandum of cooperation (MoC) was signed between the Armenian State Pedagogical University (ASPU) and "Vardanank" educational complex. The document was signed by Acting Rector of ASPU Lilit Mkrtchyan and director of the educational complex Shushan Zakaryan.

The MoC aims to unite efforts in improving the quality of education and preparing future specialists. It also aims to organize and increase the effectiveness of learners’ career orientation process, align educational programs, ensure cooperation, improve educational and methodological work, develop and implement joint educational, research and applied programs.

The parties will also combine their efforts to provide exchange of academic and professional experience, enhance learners’ practical skills and professional competencies, organize internships, training sessions, and professional development programs, and ensure the continuous improvement of education.

Acting Rector of ASPU Lilit Mkrtchyan, emphasized the importance of partnership with the educational complex, stressing that the policies and principles of the educational institution fully align with the University’s strategy.

Participating in the ceremony was also Gayane Soghomonyan, the founding director of "Vardanank" educational complex. She presented her vision of the partnership, emphasizing ASPU’s important role and viewing it as a link where schools should grow and develop, and where children should be motivated to study and choose the teaching profession.

The parties voiced hope that cooperation will enable to further strengthen connections between the university and school, as well as students and pupils, giving students the opportunity to acquire practical skills and expand professional collaboration.
