PR and Information center
The Public Relations and Information Department was established on February 15, 2011. It was renamed Public Relations and Information Centre in 2023.

The main function of the Centre is to provide direct contact and communication with the press and society, inform people [through the press] about various events taking place at ASPU, disseminate press releases, organize meetings with corresponding specialists at the request of media representatives and TV programmes with ASPU professors.

The main objectives of the Centre are to organize and implement the information and advocacy policy of the University, inform people about the activity of the ASPU Rector, subdivisions and other officials through the University website and newspaper, radio and TV programmes, create an electronic communication system, ensure cooperation with public associations and other organizations, plan and implement joint events and exchange of information; prepare reviews, media reports, analytical and reference materials for publication in the press, participate in the organization of different events, etc.

The Centre issues a newspaper - “Pedagogical University” which became a biweekly since March 2013, with a printed run of 1600 copies. The newspaper is distributed [free of charge] within the University and is sent to various public agencies, state and non-state organizations, as well as to missions and representations of international organizations accredited in Armenia. The newspaper focuses on the activities of the University and the problems in the higher education system. The newspaper celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2015.

The Public Relations and Information Centre is also in charge of the University’s official website - www.old.aspu.am . Since its establishment, the Centre has been engaged in preparation and design of the University website. One can find on the website materials, articles, reports telling about the events that have taken place at the University during the day. The website can also provide radio and TV broadcasts. Also, one can find here information about the structure of the University, educational process and programmes, as well as comprehensive information about students and specialists teaching at the University.

On November 1, 2013, the Centre launched Radio “Fama” (www.radiofama.am) - the first-ever student radio station in the country which provides round-the-clock news on the events taking place in the University as well on events in education, culture and information technology. Radio "Fama" is broadcast at the University throughout the day and performs an important function: it is the best platform for internship and experience for students of the Department of Television and Radio Journalism of the Faculty of Culture.

The Centre also has its TV broadcasts. "Formula for Success'' - a programme shot by the ASPU Public Relations and Information Centre has been broadcast on ArmNews TV (since 2016) and on ATV (since 2019) at 11.45 a.m. every Sunday.

The programme informs people about the specialties taught at ASPU and presents them from a different angle. It aims to familiarize viewers, especially those, who are still undecided about their career path, with the specialties offered by the University.

Each programme is aired twice, then it is posted on the official website of the University - www.old.aspu.am. The Centre plans to create online television as well.
But this is still a matter of the future.
