The Chair of Speech Therapy and Rehabilitation Therapy was founded in 2011. The Chair prepares speech therapists, ergo therapists and art therapists (these professions are high in demand in Armenia and abroad).

The Chair is replenished with academically ranked professors, who also actively carry out their activities.

To improve the quality of the educational process, the professors of the Chair participate in professional training courses and international scientific conferences and carry out various experience exchange programs on a regular basis.

Teaching proceeds through the wide use of modern technologies and a student-centered approach. To make instruction in line with the times, the Chair regularly updates curricula and programs by inviting the top specialists of the particular field from abroad to teach certain subjects.

The educational process features internships, providing students with the opportunity to use their theoretical knowledge in practice. The Chair regularly organizes popular science events that help students become established as sector-specific specialists.
