The program represents a framework for the development of a Learning Health System (LHS), an innovative initiative specially adapted to promote healthy ageing and rehabilitation. It is being implemented through the collaboration between the University of Lucerne (Switzerland) and the Armenian State Pedagogical University named after Khachatur Abovyan (ASPU) (Armenia), with support from the World Health Organization (WHO).

A feasibility study will be conducted with the aim to:

➜ Lay the groundwork for implementing LHS in Armenia

➜ Learn how to implement LHS programs that promote healthy ageing through rehabilitation in LMICs in Europe and Central Asia

➜ Provide a two-year training course for professionals, consisting of 6 offline workshops and a Massive Open Online Course (MOOC)
