Heghine Khachatryan, a Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences and Associate Professor, is the Acting Dean of the Faculty of Primary Education at Armenian State Pedagogical University (ASPU).


She is a highly skilled specialist in the field of education with many years of experience teaching preschool pedagogy and child psychology.


H. Khachatryan is currently an associate professor at the university-wide Pedagogy Department, where she teaches the "Critical Thinking" course. She is also a senior researcher at the "Chess" Research Institute.

Heghine Khachatryan is a trainer of trainers for a number of international and local educational programs and a certifier for the international program "Reading and Writing for Critical Thinking."


Heghine Khachatryan is a co-author of the textbooks of the Mother Tongue for grades 2-4 and their methodological guides.She also serves as a reviewer and consultant for chess textbooks and their methodological guides for 2nd-4th grades.


She is the author 20 scientific articles, including those published in periodicals indexed in scientometric databases, co-author of approximately 30 school and 4 university scientific and methodological manuals.
