Faculty оf Foreign Languages/Chair of Romano-Germanic Languages and their Teaching Methods

Associate Professor Tigran Mikayelyan, PhD in Philology, currently serves as Dean of the Faculty of Foreign Languages at the Armenian State Pedagogical University.


His research interests encompass the fields of Linguistics, General Linguistics, Linguistic Typology, Foreign Language Pedagogy, and the Philosophy of Education.

Since 2024, he has held the position of acting Head of the Chair of Romance and Germanic Languages and their Teaching Methodology.


Dr. Mikayelyan has undertaken professional training, delivered lectures, participated in academic exchanges, and conducted scholarly work at a number of universities in the United States, Finland, the United Kingdom, Spain, Poland, the Czech Republic, Germany, France, Italy, and Switzerland.


He is the author of approximately twenty scholarly articles and the co-author of a university-level textbook.
