It has already become a tradition at the ASPU Faculty of Mathematics, Informatics and Physics to organize discussions about various actual topics, to listen to the Doctor of Politology, Professor Levon Shirinyan’s opinion and his politological analysis.
Today, during the discussion the professor spoke about the existing geostrategic situation and its development perspectives in the very beginning highlighting that the Armenian Armed Forces brilliantly fought, demonstrated true examples of self-sacrifice which was unprecedented on the international political platform.
“The Armenian commanding officers showed bright military examples of leading the army in conditions of unequal resources, thus, solving a major strategic issue”, mentioned the politologist and assured that those engaged with planning the war will study and take into consideration the successful experience in the four-day war in April.
In addition, the professor also spoke about overthrowing the objectives of military headquarters of several countries and causing tangible and diplomatic losses on the way of carrying out thereof, at the same time not neglecting also the style of international public.
“It is in their interests that the hostilities are carried out in the Transcaucasia, away from Europe and the USA”.
Talking about the military spirit of Armenian soldiers Levon Shirinyan once again observed with obvious admiration and pride that today’s soldiers are the Generation of Tigran Mets, that they do not hope for the ally’s support on the battlefield; there are no longer Armenians with the psychology of slaves.
To conclude, during the meeting the politologist also answered to the questions of all those present.
