Recently, the Armenian Committee of International Council of Museums (ICOM Armenia) and the National Gallery of Armenia organized a discussion that featured representatives of Armenian museums and dasaran.am website.
The meeting was aimed at posting information about museums on the website, as well as deepening and expanding the scope of cooperation between museums and schools.
Alvard Grigoryan, Director of the Museum of Armenian State Pedagogical University, suggested posting information about the ASPU on two sections of dasaran.am – “History” and “Applicant’s Corner,” stressing the fact that the Museum also organizes vocational guidance tours.
“The Museum can receive up to 300 schoolchildren a month. Besides conducting career guidance excursions for pupils, we also organize a game-tour [The Invention of the Armenian Alphabet] and thematic tour [Let us Recognize Abovyan],” said Alvard Grigoryan.
At the end of the meeting, a preliminary agreement was reached between representatives of dasaran.am and ASPU Museum on continuing collaboration in the future.
